Aspiring rapper Brandon Nolls of Joliet found with fatal gunshot wounds in Humboldt Park

Brandon Jacques Nolls of southwest suburban Joliet was shot to death Friday evening in the West Side Humboldt Park neighborhood.

Officers responding about 9 p.m. to a call of a person shot in the 1000 block of North Harding found the 24-year-old lying on the ground, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Nolls was shot in the left shoulder and back, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:38 p.m., according to police and the medical examiner’s office.

Nolls, an aspiring rapper who performed as PG12, lived in the 1100 block of South Summit Street in Joliet.

An autopsy found he died of a gunshot wound to the back and his death was ruled a homicide.
