Denzell Mickiel died shortly after being shot multiple times Monday evening in the Ashburn neighborhood.
The 24-year-old Mickiel was shot in the right arm, the left side of the neck, and in the head about 7:30 p.m. in the 3200 block of West 83rd Street, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Mickiel, of the 7000 block of South Honore, was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 8:20 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.
