Police: Kirino Fabian fatally stabbed by ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend in Belmont Cragin

Kirino Fabian man was stabbed to death by his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend early Tuesday in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood, authorities said.

About 3:30 a.m., a 19-year-old Fabian was picking up his ex-girlfriend from her new boyfriend’s house in the 5000 block of West Dickens when the boyfriend stabbed him, according to Chicago Police.

The 19-year-old suffered multiple stab wounds and was taken to Community First Medical Center, where he died at 4:55 a.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. Fabian lived in the 2900 block of North Mango.

A 20-year-old man was stabbed in the right arm while trying to defend Fabian, police said. He was taken to the same hospital in good condition.

Police said a man in his 20s was arrested for the stabbing, and charges were pending Wednesday morning.
