Brian Winters fatally shot outside his home in Marquette Park

Brian B. Winters was killed in a shooting in the Marquette Park neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.

Winters, 33, was washing his car outside his home at 2:12 p.m. in the 7300 block of South Rockwell.

Someone walked up and shot him in the head and chest, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Winters was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 3:13 p.m., authorities said.
