John McKinley fatally shot while driving in Pullman

John McKinley was shot to death late Saturday while driving in the Far South Side Pullman neighborhood.

McKinley, 36, was driving through an intersection in the 11200 block of South Langley about 11:25 p.m. when a vehicle pulled up and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

McKinley, of the 400 block of East 113th Street, was shot multiple times. He attempted to drive away, but crashed into parked cars, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:14 a.m. Sunday, according to the medical examiner’s office.
