28-year-old Lazerrick Ratliff found shot in the back in Lawndale

A man who was fatally shot Sunday afternoon in the Lawndale neighborhood has been identified as 28-year-old Lazerrick Ratliff.

Ratliff was shot in the back at 4:02 p.m. in the 2000 block of South Homan, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

He was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital at 4:42 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office. He lived in the 5000 block of West West End Avenue.

An autopsy found he died of multiple gunshot wounds.
