Jorge Navarro Jr. was shot to death early Wednesday while driving on Lake Shore Drive in the North Side Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Navarro, 25, was driving a silver Lexus about 3:45 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the 2300 block of North Lake Shore Drive, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Another vehicle pulled alongside the Lexus near Fullerton, and someone inside shot him in the chest, police said.
The Lexus then crashed into the center median. Two other people, a male and female who were passengers in the car, were not injured, police said.
Navarro was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 4:37 a.m., authorities said. He lived in the McKinley Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
An autopsy found he died of multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
