Christopher Johnson was killed in a shooting Tuesday afternoon while sitting in a vehicle in the Southwest Side Ashburn neighborhood.
The 32-year-old Johnson was inside a vehicle in the 8100 block of South Kedzie at 2:18 p.m. when he was shot multiple times, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
He was taken in critical condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he died at 2:51 p.m., authorities said. He lived in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.
An autopsy Wednesday found he died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide.
