Duan Armfield was killed in shooting early Wednesday in the Southwest Side LeClaire Courts neighborhood where he lived.
The 34-year-old Armfield was sitting in the passenger seat of a black Jeep about 1:15 a.m. in the 4500 block of South Leclaire, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Someone walked up and fired shots into the vehicle.
Armfield suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:45 a.m., authorities said.
He lived on the same block where he was shot.
