William D. Moore was killed Thursday morning in a Gresham neighborhood shooting on the South Side.
The 19-yaear-old Moore was sitting in a vehicle at 11:02 a.m. in the 8500 block of South Justine, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
A black SUV drove up and someone inside fired shots, striking Moore several times, police said.
He was found in the vehicle by responding officers, and was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:16 a.m., authorities said.
An autopsy Friday determined Moore died of multiple gun shot wounds, the medical examiner’s office said.
