Jermaine Robinson, who rapped as FBG Brick; and pal Coby Mack gunned down in front of a home in Woodlawn

Jermaine Robinson, known on the Chicago rap scene as FBG Brick, was gunned down along with his friend Stanley Jacoby Mack, known as Coby Mack, on Monday afternoon in the South Side Woodlawn neighborhood.

Police were called to a shooting about 2:50 p.m. Monday in the 6300 block of South St. Lawrence.

They found one of the victims in front of a home with a gunshot wound to the head, and the other man in the back gangway with gunshot wounds to the back and arm, according to Chicago Police.

Mack, 31; and Robinson, 26, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Mack lived in the West Side Austin neighborhood, while Robinson lived in South Shore.

Autopsies Tuesday found both men died of multiple gunshot wounds, and their deaths were ruled homicides, according to the medical examiner’s office.

No one was in custody as of Thursday afternoon.

As FBG Brick, Robinson performed under the tutelage of his younger brother, FBG Duck, a member of the controversial Fly Boy Gang or FBG. That group, known for its high-profile feuds with Chief Keef and Edai, released a number of songs dissing the rival rappers.

FBG Brick’s most popular video was “Another One.”

Mack, known to friends as Coby Mack, was a member of the FBG circle, though was not as a performer. Unconfirmed reports said he was related to Robinson.

Two other members of FBG, Young Mello and Lil Jeff, were shot to death in 2013.
