A man shot to death early Sunday in the University Village neighborhood on the Near West Side has been identified as a 22-year-old Quienten Anthony Tucker, who lived several blocks from where he was shot.
Tucker was standing outside about 2 a.m. in the 1000 block of West Maxwell, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
A vehicle drove up, two people jumped out and both opened fire, police said.
Tucker suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
He lived several blocks away on the Near West Side.
