Jacquell Mosley, Dominic Morris and Tyson White killed when two shooters open fire in Roseland

Tyson White, Jacquell Mosley and Dominic N. Morris were standing near a vehicle Saturday night near Morris’ home in the Far South Side Roseland neighborhood when the gunfire started.

Witnesses reported hearing dozens of gunshots and when it was over, all three friends were dead in the street.

They had been outside about 11:40 p.m. when two people came out of an alley near the 11400 block of South Yale and fired multiple shots, according to Chicago Police.

White, 36, whose home address wasn’t known, suffered a gunshot wound to his neck, authorities said.

The 26-year-old Mosley and 30-year-old Morris were both struck multiple times, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

Morris lived on the same block as the shooting, while Mosley lived in the West Pullman neighborhood.

All three were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

There was no one in custody as of Tuesday as Area South detectives conduct a homicide investigation.
