Juan Bahena Jr. was killed Sunday afternoon when he was shot multiple times in a drive-by in the Southwest Side Little Village neighborhood.
The 23-year-old was sitting in a car at 4:32 p.m. in the 2400 block of South Western, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Someone in a passing tan minivan opened fire, striking him multiple times, police said.
Bahena was shot in the neck, thigh and buttocks; and was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital at 5 p.m., authorities said. He lived in the Southwest Side West Elsdon neighborhood.
There was no one in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
