Rey Dorantes , 14, was standing on the porch of his home in the 2400 block of West Augusta Boulevard in the West Town neighborhood about 11:50 p.m. Friday, January 11, when two shooters walked up and opened fire, according to police and the medical examiner’s office.
He was shot multiple times in the chest and died at the scene, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
He was four days away from his 15th birthday, according to a source.
