The second fatal shooting happened about . Victor Vega , 15, and another male were walking in the 2600 block of South Ridgeway Avenue, at 6:40 p.m. in the West Side Lawndale neighborhood, when an unknown male approached and fired shots, according to police and the medical examiner’s office.
Paramedics took Vega , of the 2600 block of South Central Park Avenue, to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he died about half an hour later, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
The attack was gang-related, a source said.
