A man was shot to death Wednesday afternoon in the West Pullman neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
Dane Whitfield, 31, was found shot in a vehicle in the 11800 block of South Harvard Avenue, authorities said.
Whitfield, of the 11800 block of South Harvard Avenue, later died at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn at 6:55 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Police did not detail the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Area South detectives were investigating.
