A man was shot to death in the Back of the Yards neighborhood early Monday on the South Side.
The man — identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office as 22-year-old Ricardo Carlin — was shot at 4:49 a.m. in the 1700 block of West 44th Street, police said.
Carlin, of the 4300 block of South Paulina Street, was declared dead at 5:41 a.m. at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
No one was in custody as Area Central detectives investigated.
