A man was shot and killed in the West Englwood neighborhood Monday night, just two blocks away from the scene of another homicide earlier in the day.
The shooting occurred about 8:50 p.m. in the 1800 block of West Garfield Boulevard, authorities said.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was dead at the scene, according to Fire Media Affairs.The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office could not immediately confirm the death.
Earlier in the day, 28-year-old Caurice Graham was shot and killed in the 2000 block of West Garfield Boulevard. Area South detectives are investigating.
