Man killed in Gage Park shooting

A man died after he was shot in a gang-related attack early Sunday in the Southwest Side Gage Park neighborhood.

Adrian Sianez 24, was in the 5500 block of South Mozart Street about 3:40 a.m. when someone got out of an SUV and started shooting, authorities said.

He was shot multiple times in the back and once in the buttocks, police said.

Sianez, of the 5700 block of South Rockwell Street, was pronounced dead at Mount Sinia Hospital at 10:11 a.m., the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office said.

Authorities said the shooting appears to be gang-related.

No one is in custody Sunday as Area Central detectives investigate.
