A woman was fatally stabbed in her home during a domestic dispute on the city’s Lower West Side Sunday morning.
Joanna Lopez, 26, was stabbed at her home in the 1700 block of West 21st Street about 6:45 a.m., authorities said.
The incident appeared to be domestic in nature, and Area Central detectives are questioning a person of interest in the stabbing, police said.
Lopez was dead at the scene, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office said.
