Kevin Johnson was shot to death Tuesday afternoon in the Morgan Park neighborhood.
Officers responded about 4:40 p.m. Tuesday to a call of shots fired and found Johnson, 30, in the 11200 block of South Ada Street, authorities said.
Johnson, of the 100 block of South Ashland Avenue, was shot in the head and died at the scene, authorities said.
Area South detectives are investigating.
