Corey Williams was shot to death early Thursday in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood.
Williams, 29, was shot once in the chest about 1:30 a.m. in the 8100 block of South Marshfield Avenue, authorities said.
When officers arrived, they found Williams bleeding and unresponsive on the sidewalk, authorities said.
Williams, of the 6000 block of South Richmond Avenue, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 1:34 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Nobody has been charged for the murder.
