Leannia Hall strangled in Humboldt Park

Leannia Hall was found strangled in her Humboldt Park neighborhood home early Thursday.

Hall,76, was found unresponsive at her home in the 900 block of North Central Park Avenue, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

A relative found her in a bedroom, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.

An autopsy Thursday found Hall was strangled and ruled her death a homicide, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Area North detectives are investigating.
