Marc Williams was shot to death Sunday afternoon in the South Chicago neighborhood.
Williams, 17, was walking in the 8200 block of South Houston Avenue when a gunman walked up and shot him in the abdomen area about noon, authorities said.
Williams, of the 8100 block of South Coles Avenue, died at Northwestern Memorial Hospital less than an hour later, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Nobody has been charged for the murder.
Area South detectives are investigating.
