Gregory D. McKinney was killed in a West Garfield Park shooting Wednesday evening.
McKinney, 25, was outside in the 100 block of South Pulaski Road when he was shot in the back and chest about 5 p.m. Wednesday, authorities said.
McKinney, of the 4000 block of West Wilcox Street, died about 45 minutes later at Mount Sinai Hospital, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Nobody has been charged for the murder.
Area North detectives are investigating.
