A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood Tuesday night.
Terrell Campbell was walking through a vacant lot in the 300 block of East Pershing Road when two gunmen approached and opened fire about 9:50 p.m. Tuesday, authorities said.
Campbell, of the 8800 block of South Wabash Avenue, was shot in the abdomen, chest and legs, authorities said.
Paramedics took Campbell to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was declared dead, authorities said.
Nobody has been charged for the murder.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
