Bernard Pippen was fatally shot in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood Saturday night.
Officers responding to a call of a shots fired found Pippen shot in the neck in the 9600 block of South Green Street about 6:50 p.m. Saturday, authorities said.
Pippen, 18, of the 11000 block of South State Street, died at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Detectives are questioning at least one “persons of interest,” but no charges have been filed as of Sunday morning.
Area South detectives are investigating.
