Antoine Coney was fatally shot on an Austin porch Thursday evening.
Coney, 21, was on the porch in the 5200 block of West Quincy Street when a gray vehicle pulled up and a gunman exited and opened fire about 5:30 p.m. Thursday, authorities said.
Quincy, who lived on the block, was shot in the head and died at the scene, authorities said.
After the shooting, the gunman got back into the vehicle, which sped off east on Quincy Street, police said.
Nobody has been charged for the killing.
Area North detectives are investigating.
