A 38-year-old woman found dead inside a vehicle Sunday in the Austin community was beaten to death.
Police found 38-year-old Frankie Smith dead inside a vehicle in the 5200 block of West Thomas Street about 10:40 a.m. Sunday, authorities said.
An autopsy determined Smith, of the 1100 block of North LeClaire Avenue, died from multiple blunt-force injuries, and her death was ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner’s office.
Nobody has been charged for the killing.
Area North detectives are investigating.
