Adrian Campos stabbed to death in Logan Square, and police have suspect in custody

Adrian Campos was stabbed to death early Monday in the Logan Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side, and police say a suspect is in custody.

Shortly after 3 a.m., the 26-year-old Campos was stabbed in the chest during an argument with another man in the 1900 block of North Rockwell, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Campos, who lived on the same block where he was stabbed, was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 4:11 a.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.

The other man has been taken into custody and charges are pending early Monday, police said.
