A man found shot to death Monday afternoon in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side was identified as 23-year-old Mark Anthony Hayes.
At 2:25 p.m., officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 300 block of East 120th Street and found Hayes unresponsive with a single gunshot wound to the arm and torso, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Hayes, of the first block of West Brayton Street, was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital at 2:52 p.m. Monday.
