Sixty-four-year-old Jose Arreola was killed in a Gage Park neighborhood shooting Friday evening on the Southwest Side.
Officers found Arreola unresponsive on a sidewalk at 7:09 p.m. in the 5100 block of South Troy. He had been shot multiple times in the abdomen and legs, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
Arreola, who lived in the 5100 block of South Albany, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he later died, authorities said.
