Lorenzo Garcia was shot and killed early Saturday in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.
Officers responding to a call of shots fired about 3:50 a.m. in the 4700 block of South Laflin Street found the 24-year-old Garcia outside with a gunshot wound to the head, according to Chicago Police and Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Garcia, who lived in the 4800 block of South Laflin, was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.
