Reginald Bonner found shot to death in car on the block where he lived in Humboldt Park

A man Found shot to death Thursday evening on the block where he lived in the Humboldt Park has been identified as Reginald Bonner.

The 37-year-old was in a vehicle in the 1100 block of North Springfield about 5:20 p.m. when another vehicle pulled up and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Bonner was shot in the arm and chest, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:55 p.m., authorities said.
