Paul Webster was fatally shot Thursday evening in the Ashburn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
The 52-year-old Webster was sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle about 5:26 p.m. in the 2800 block of West 84th Place.
A dark-colored vehicle pulled up and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Webster, whose home address wasn’t known Friday, was shot in the chest and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 6:08 p.m., authorities said.
