Jeremy Ray fatally shot by two men in South Chicago

Jeremy H. Ray man was shot to death in the South Chicago neighborhood Friday night.

The 27-year-old Ray was outside in the 8900 block of South Brandon about 9:35 p.m. when two gunmen got out of a car, walked up and opened fire before driving away, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Ray, who was shot multiple times, was taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:27 p.m., authorities said. He lived in the 4200 block of West 112th Place.
