Carlton Hall fatally shot while riding in vehicle in Auburn Gresham

Carlton Hall was shot to death Saturday evening in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

Hall, 30, was riding in a vehicle about 8:20 p.m. southbound in the 7600 block of South Eggleston when another vehicle pulled alongside. Someone inside the other vehicle then opened fire, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Hall, of the 7000 block of South Wolcott, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 8:38 p.m., according to authorities.
