Sixty-six-year-old John Alexander was stabbed to death inside his Logan Square neighborhood home on Saturday evening.
Alexander was inside his home in the 2500 block of West Moffat about 10:30 p.m. when a male suspect came inside and stabbed him multiple times, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. The suspect then ran away.
Alexander was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 11:24 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office. His death was ruled a homicide.
