A man shot to death Sunday evening in the Back of the Yards neighborhood has been identified as 19-year-old Korry Rogers.
Officers responding at 6:07 p.m. to a call of a person shot in the 5200 block of South Sangamon found Rogers suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body, according to Chicago Police.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:24 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Rogers lived in the 5600 block of South Throop.
An autopsy found he died of multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
