Chase Taylor was shot to death inside his Gresham neighborhood home sometime Thursday on the South Side.
Another person who lives in the home in the 8000 block of South Bishop left aboutt 6:30 a.m. and returned about 10 p.m. That person found the 28-year-old Taylor dead with a gunshot wound to the head in the living room, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:13 p.m., authorities said.
Area South detectives are conducting a homicide investigation.
