Bruce Williams was fatally shot Monday evening in a gangway near his home in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.
Williams, 36, was in a gangway in the 4100 block of West Potomac at 7:26 p.m. when another male walked up with a gun, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Williams was shot in the head, and was taken to Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center. He was pronounced dead there at 7:34 p.m., authorities said.
He lived on the same block where he was shot.
