23-year-old Brendon Frazier found with fatal gunshot wounds on block where he lived in Gresham

A man was shot to death Friday night in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side has been identified as Brendon Frazier.

Officers responded at 10:19 p.m. to a call of shots fired in the 8800 block of South Eggleston.

They found the 23-year-old Frazier with gunshot wounds to the buttocks and side of his body, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Frazier, who lived on the block where he was shot, was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:35 p.m., authorities said.

No one was in custody for the shooting Saturday morning.
