51-year-old Arthur Sanchez killed in drive-by shooting just blocks from his home in Heart of Chicago

Arthur Sanchez was killed in a drive-by shooting Sunday night in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood on the South Side.

The 51-year-old was standing outside about 8:55 p.m. on a corner in the 2000 block of South Leavitt, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Two male suspects drove past in a Chevrolet vehicle, shouted gang slogans, then fired shots, police said.
