Maurice King was killed in a shooting Saturday morning near his home in the Gage Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
The 21-year-old King was walking to his vehicle at 10:11 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 58th Street, according to Chicago Police.
A man approached and fired multiple shots at him, police said.
King suffered two gunshot wounds to each shoulder and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:49 a.m., police said.
