Dionysus English was shot to death Wednesday night on the Near West Side.
Officers responding to calls of shots fired about 8:30 p.m. found the 28-year-old English shot multiple times in the 100 block of South Western, Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
English was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said. He lived in the South Side Bronzeville neighborhood.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
