The three were standing outside in the 5700 block of South Green about 7:15 p.m. when they heard gunshots, Chicago Police said.

Williams, 24, was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital at 8:01 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. An autopsy showed he died of multiple gunshot wounds.

A 34-year-old man was shot in the abdomen and foot, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition. The third man, 41, was shot in the arm and was taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition, police said.

Juan C. Gonzalez was found fatally shot in the Back of the Yards neighborhood Thursday night.

The 19-year-old was found lying face down next to an SUV in an alley in the 4700 block of South Wood about 10:20 p.m., according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He had been shot in the chest.

Gonzalez, of the 5100 block of South Bishop, was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:20 p.m., authorities said. AN autopsy showed he died of a gunshot wound to the torso.

A man who was shot to death late Monday in a parked car in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side has been identified as Giovani Salgado.

The 21-year-old was found sitting in the passenger seat of the vehicle in the 6800 block of North Ridge about 11:50 p.m., according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Salgado had been shot in the chest and back, and was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, according to police and the medical examiner’s office.

An autopsy found he died of a gunshot wound to the chest.

Second teen charged with Greater Grand Crossing shooting that left Donta Parker and Sakinah Reed dead

A 17-year-old boy is the second person to be charged with a Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood shooting that left teenagers Donta Parker and Sakinah Reed dead earlier this month.

Joshua Lofton is the second person charged in the Jan. 5 shooting in the 7500 block of South Dorchester. He faces two counts of first-degree murder and one count of aggravated battery with a firearm, according to the Cook County state’s attorney’s office.

The shooting left Parker, 16; and Reed, 17, dead and another 16-year-old boy wounded, authorities said.

Last week, 16-year-old Anthony Murphy was ordered held without bond for his role in the shooting, according to the Cook County state’s Attorney’s office. On Wednesday, Lofton was ordered held on $1 million bond.

Murphy, already on probation for a weapons case, gunned down Parker, 16, and Reed, 17, from a green Ford Explorer in the 7500 block of South Dorchester, Cook County prosecutors said in court last week.

A 39-year-old man was fatally shot in a Northwest Side alley Sunday evening in the Hermosa neighborhood.

Emergency crews found Rene Ramirez unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the back just before 6 p.m. in the alley in the 1900 block of North Keeler, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Ramirez, who lived on the same block, was taken to Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 7 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.

Henry Cruz was fatally shot Saturday night in the Irving Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

A Far South Side man has been charged with killing Corey Ferguson when a fight broke out among family members in a Roseland neighborhood home Saturday morning.

Terry Givan, 55, got into the fight about 10:30 a.m. with several relatives inside his home in the 11200 block of South Normal, according to Chicago Police.

The dispute escalated as it moved to a first-floor foyer, where Givan tussled with the 32-year-old Ferguson before pulling a handgun and shooting the younger man in the chest, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Henry Cruz fatally shot in Irving Park

Henry Cruz was fatally shot Saturday night in the Irving Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 29-year-old Cruz, of the 800 block of North Hamlin Avenue, was shot in the head in the 3200 block of West Irving Park Road at 8:15 p.m., according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:35 p.m., authorities said. An autopsy Sunday ruled his death a homicide.

Corey Ferguson of Gary fatally shot in Roseland

A suspect is in custody after Corey Ferguson of Gary, Indiana, was shot to death Saturday morning in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

Ferguson, 32, was involved in a fight with a 55-year-old man at 10:23 a.m. in the 11200 block of South Normal, when the man pulled out a gun and shot Ferguson in the chest, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 11:16 a.m., authorities said. He lived in the 1500 block of Ralston Street in Gary.

Investigators have taken a male suspect into custody in connection with the shooting police said. Charges against him were pending Sunday.

Quintae Little fatally shot in Garfield Ridge

Quintae Little was fatally shot late Saturday morning in the Garfield Ridge neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

Little, 34, was shot in the right side of his torso at 11:48 a.m. in the 4500 block of South Cicero Avenue, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Police said he was 27.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:46 p.m., authorities said. He lived in the 4500 block of South Lavergne Avenue.
