A South Side man was fatally shot Thursday evening in the Gage Park neighborhood.
Sergio Mora , 19, was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound in his left side about 5 p.m. in the 2300 block of West 50th Street and taken to Stroger Hospital, Chicago Police said. Mora , of the 4900 block of South Winchester, was declared dead at 5:59 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.
Preliminary information indicated that Mora suffered multiple gunshot wounds, the medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy was scheduled for Friday.
Area Central detectives were investigating.
