Early Sunday 19-year-old Akeem Manago was shot to death on the West Side.
His murder occurred during a particularly bloody hour, starting just after 1:30 a.m. During that time span of time eight people were shot, including Manago.
About 1:50 a.m. Manago was walking with a 23-year-old man in the 1300 block of block of West Hastings Street when four gunmen approached from behind and opened fire, authorities said.
The 23-year-old man was struck in the leg and taken to a hospital in good condition. Manago, of the 3700 block of South Wells Street, died less than an hour later, authorities said.
