A man was fatally shot in the head Monday morning in the South Side Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood. The shooting occurred at 10:55 a.m. in the 7400 block of South Eberhart Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada said.
Jonathan Hoskins, 27, of the 7700 block of South Langley Avenue, was dead at the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Area South detectives are investigating.
